Naturalist (formerly Flowerbox Wall Gardens) has an ongoing relationship with the Rachael Ray Studio, one that is continuing to bloom.
The beloved chef, television personality, author, businesswoman—and so much more!—is a loyal fan of our work and we have now completed three applications for her team. For a recent update to the historic CBS studio located in Manhattan, our horticulturists, designers, engineers, and installers collaborated with Rachael’s executive producer and art director to ensure that her vision was realized.
The studio’s updated set design now includes the addition of a preserved moss wall in the audience area made from flat, reindeer, and provance moss, hedera, and artificial plants. This large-scale application—spanning over 18 feet high and 10 feet wide—brings commercial design to a new level and combines Rachael’s affinity for certain locales. The verdant design evokes a blend of Texas, Tuscany, and upstate New York landscapes, and brings the outdoors into a bustling city space.
The entire piece lends an organic feel to the set, entwining different textures of leaves, moss, and other plants to create a stunning work of art that can’t be found on other daytime shows. With all of its color and dimension, this wall garden truly showcases Rachael’s personality and style.
